Linking strategy to operations Incorporating context and insights into strategic plan renewals
I take a design-driven approach to ensure that a vision, operations, and impact are all aligned, while providing leaders with the tools to assess their work and learn as they go. My strategic planning approach integrates design thinking, systems awareness, and embedded evaluation to create "living strategies" that adapt to complexity rather than resist it. Through participatory processes and strategic foresight, I help organizations develop coherent frameworks that provide clear direction while remaining responsive to changing conditions and emerging opportunities. This methodology moves beyond traditional planning to treat strategy as an ongoing practice of learning, adaptation, and intentional design for sustainable impact. Cameron Norman
As a Six Sigma trainer there are multiple resources and tools that are supportive and facilitating discussions when visioning and strategic planning forward. The focus is on strategies team leaders can use and actions they can take to build high levels of team agility: quickness, flexibility, and adaptability. There is an emphasis of nothing about us without us and facilitating the involvement of those taking action. Ultimately the strategy will be the ‘what.’ And the successful fulfilment of that strategy will be the ‘How’. Together we discover and then provide clarity of the ‘what’ so that the team inevitably can crush obstacles that resiliently provide great results.
Can also be supportive of preparing for strategic readiness. Can deliver a course on Strategic Thinking: Dynamic and innovative organizations require leaders at all levels who can think strategically, anticipate issues, solve problems, and make decisions based on new and emerging information while keeping the long-term vision in mind.
