"Our CNIB Lake Joe team worked with Thomas Appleyard to successfully facilitate our inaugural international learning retreat in 2019. Given the challenges of COVID-19, it was without hesitation that we engaged Thomas once again to support our first-ever virtual staff evaluation exercise. Thomas was organized, professional and strategic as he worked with our team to help plan and facilitate a series of six SWOT–TOWS analysis sessions. His respectful approach and ability to build rapport with our group complemented his facilitation skillset. He maximized the online venue, ensuring team members were fully engaged, participated equally, and provided timely feedback, within the Zoom platform. Working with Thomas was an absolute pleasure; his expertise and personable nature a perfect blend. In a clear, concise, and accommodating manner, Thomas helped us achieve our goal to gather and document information to better understand and improve the experiences of our blind and partially sighted participants and their families, now and into the future. I whole heartedly recommend Thomas as a consultant."

" Thomas worked with the board of directors of The Friends of Algonquin Park to chart a path forward as we dealt with some complex planning issues. The board was very pleased with both the process and how much we accomplished in a short period of time. I highly recommend Thomas as a skilled facilitator."
"Tom did a remarkable job of getting the information and summarizing it. He is to be commended for organizing such thoughts and helping us realize what we should do as we now move forward. Tom was always so patient, kind and understanding of us, and we sincerely appreciated his efforts and gentle ways of nudging us to realize what we are up against in the months to come. Thank you so much to Tom, from the bottom of my heart. Tom has been an absolute lifesaver for The Friends of Algonquin Park."
